2GIG GC-TBZ48 Go!Control Battery-Powered Z-Wave Thermostat

The GC-TBZ48 is a battery-powered Z-Wave thermostat that connects to all Z-Wave hubs (including the 2GIG GC2 panel), giving the user control over their home’s comfort wherever they are. This model is designed to be incredibly easy to install and includes a front loading battery compartment to hold 4 "AA" batteries to power the thermostat for two full years, or it can be powered by the HVAC systems 24 VAC "C" wire. And because it is equipped with a user-friendly 7-character scrolling display, the Z-Wave Thermostat is simple to program.

It accommodates standard HVAC systems with 2 stage heat / 2 stage cool, as well as heat pump HVAC systems with 3 stage heat / 2 stage cool.

The Go!Control Battery-Powered Z-Wave Thermostat is one of the easiest smart thermostats to install and program, and is controllable by all Z-Wave hubs, including the 2GIG Go!Control security system. When integrated with all the apps that control a Z-Wave hub, the home’s HVAC settings can be adjusted from any smartphone or tablet, whether the user is sitting in the living room or in a hotel room across the globe.

Battery or HVAC Power Options

Using the battery-powered option, low-voltage integrators can connect the thermostat to 95% of HVAC systems without the help of an electrician or HVAC contractor. The thermostat’s flexible design also allows for it to be powered by the HVAC systems 24VAC “C” wire, if desired. It requires (4) “AA” batteries for standard operation (included), and has an extremely long 2 year battery life when powered this way.
