Now it’s easier than ever to get reliable hanging support for fixtures, fixture boxes, cable tray, and other static loads requiring drop wire support! Better than traditional wire-hanging methods, the Wire Grabber™ from Arlington™ saves time and costs much less than competitive products.
Versatile Hold
The Wire Grabber™ is perfect for either dry or wet locations, and its hold on the braided support wire is unaffected by oil or grease. It holds an angular load as well as any other static load, including high bay light fixtures. What’s more, it has an impressive load rating of 100 lbs to tackle most drop wire hanging applications.
Hooked “Y”
The DWYH series of Arlington™ Wire Grabber™ Kits features (2) galvanized steel hooks with spring retainers at the end of (2) lengths of 18” braided wire. These extensions form a “Y” structure to hold the fixture at two separate points, and are attached at the top by a sturdy aluminum clip.
Six Points of Contact
Finger tightening the new and improved thumb screw on the Wire Grabber™ engages six points of contact for easy length adjustment without kinking or bending the wire. When you’ve reached the length you want, simply tighten screw with pliers or screwdriver to finish – no special tools required. Once installed, you can rest assured that the Wire Grabber™ will stay in place. This reliability is only increased by the lack of an internal spring (which could otherwise wear out with time).
Fully Assembled
The Wire Grabber™ connector ships fully assembled and ready to go. Included with the kit is (1) FLG3 wire hanger, as well as (1) .080" x 5’ galvanized braided wire with steel hooks on each end of a “Y” configuration. Various Wire Grabber™ Kits are available with differing lengths of wire, and rolls of braided support wire are also sold separately to completely customize the installation to your needs.
