Jonard® PT-300 Pocket Continuity Tester & Toner

Easily test for continuity and short or open circuits with the PT-300 – the perfect tool for the job, designed to help identify cables prior to connecting CATV, Satellite or other transmitting - receiving systems. The push-on connector sits at a right angle making it a breeze to use!

Watch Your Tone!

Testing a cable is fast and easy. Simply plug the sender into a wall jack in a room. Back at the location where the cables meet, connect one cable at a time to the device until you hear the tone… This means you’ve found your cable! You can also connect the toner without emitting a tone (a discretionary option).

Light It Up!

The PT-300 features a LED light that when lit, indicates splitters, DC shorts, and other self grounding devices in the cable. And unlike some testers/toners, the PT-300 only requires (1) AAA battery for operation (included). A convenient on/off switch in the base of the unit extends battery life.

Long Distance Accuracy

The drop cable continuity tester is accurate up to 5,000 feet (1,500 m) to identify cables in an MDU, and detect troublesome short circuits. Also, the PT-300 is voltage protected to 52V DC to avoid unwanted damage.

Convenient

Because of its petite size (just 5” long), the Pocket Continuity Tester & Toner is convenient enough to keep at your side – and you can, with the attached belt clip! The male push-on connector sits at a right angle for working in confined areas.
