Amazon’s Alexa has changed the game of smart home installations, making it more important than even to have compatible components; the UHD51A is the first projector of its kind to work in perfect conjunction with this “personal assistant.” Use voice commands to power the projector on and off, change volume, change input source and control the USB media player. Now the smart home extends to projector and entertainment control!
Comprehensive Connectivity & Color
The UHD51A is equipped with a pair of HDMI 2.0 inputs with HDCP 2.2 support and a variety of design settings make for a stunning visual experience. High dynamic range (HDR) technology delivers brighter whites and deeper black levels. You see color the way it is meant to be seen – rich, colorful and cinematic pictures and games via DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage. What’s more, HDR signals are mapped using REC.2020 tone mapping and provides coverage for REC.709, DCI-P3 and a wide coverage color gamut. Also, a 1.3x optical zoom and 15% vertical lens shift provide installation flexibility.
DLP Technology
DLP (Digital Light Processing) is a proprietary technology that offers digital projection with higher contrast, faster response time, good pixel structure, and virtually no color degradation. The UHD51A utilizes the latest Texas Instruments 4K UHD DLP chipset capable of displaying 8.3-million simultaneous distinct pixels at screen sizes 140 inches and higher.
Full 3D
Optoma™ projectors can display true 3D content from almost any 3D source, including 3D Blu-ray players, 3D broadcasting and the latest generation gaming consoles. Support for 144Hz rapid refresh rate provides ultra-smooth flicker free images. (Optoma 3D glasses required – sold separately.)
Dynamic Black Technology
This feature gives more depth to your image by smoothly adjusting the lamp output to create a stunning high contrast ratio. Bright scenes appear crisp and clear, while dark scenes remain detailed with deep blacks and exceptional light and shade detail.
PureMotion
Using sophisticated frame-interpolation technology, advanced motion control processing eliminates motion blurring or image judder, even in high-speed action sequences. PureMotion works in both 2D and 3D and is optimized for 1080p24.
UltraDetail
This technology ensures all the information contained in an image is accurately reproduced on the screen to give a stunning crystal clear, pin-sharp picture. Complex algorithms detect each frame and improve image sharpness before the frame is projected.
PureColor
This mode allows the projector to reproduce more detailed shades of color for vibrant, natural-looking images. Colors are more saturated and more accurate.
Vertical Lens Shift
Vertical lens shift simplifies installations by shifting the image up and down without image distortion to provide a wider range of projector placement possibilities, making it easier to position the projector in a room.
PC-Free USB 4K UHD HDR Media Player
Integrated 4K UHD HDR USB Media Player provides playback of 1080p and 4K UHD HDR video, audio files and images along with support for Office Documents and PDF Files. Now, there’s no need to run for the laptop!
