Construction

The Medium Split Lock Washers are crafted of steel with a zinc chromate coating and measure 3/8” – perfect for use with 3/8" bolts. Because the ring of the washer is split and bent into a helical shape, the washer exerts a spring force between the fastener’s head and the material. This creates friction and resistance to rotation, thereby keeping the fastener in place.

Convenient Storage

All fasteners are packed into a convenient, durable square plastic box. The container is easily opened and closed for safe and secure storage, and can be reused for miscellaneous items after it has been emptied. And because the container is crafted of transparent material, it’s easy to see what’s inside to verify the type of fastener or check your stock.
