Vivid™ Wireless RF 12V Trigger Accessory for Vivid™ Motorized Projection Screens

When given the choice, most would choose a wireless solution over the traditional methods, and the case of motorized projection screens is no different. The Wireless RF 12V Trigger Accessory is the ideal fix for connecting a Vivid™ Motorized Projection Screen to a projector or AV receiver for automatic screen lowering via a 12V trigger – wirelessly. Virtually all installation wiring and headache is eliminated, and the appearance is much cleaner with no detriment to the performance of the trigger.

Important Note: The Vivid™ Wireless RF 12V Trigger Accessory is designed for use with Vivid™ Motorized Projection Screens ONLY and is not compatible with other screens.

Radio Frequency Control

The RF 12V Trigger Accessory consists of a wireless 12V trigger (transmitter) and wireless RF to IR converter (receiver) that use radio frequency (RF) to signal operation to a Vivid™ Motorized Projection Screen. The transmitter is powered by a 3V battery (included) and is connected to the projector or AV receiver via the 12V trigger output on the device. The receiver fits snugly in the 12V trigger input at the end of the Vivid™ motorized screen.

70 Feet Range

The maximum distance between the two pieces for operation is 70 feet and because the devices are calibrated only to each other, which means that you can use multiple pairs for different components in close proximity with no issue of cross-talking – unless you specifically program them to. The Wireless RF 12V Trigger is a convenient (and simpler) alternative to programming a remote, and provides a much more efficient method than 12V trigger wiring!
