WyreStorm® RX-SDI-50 50m (164ft) HD over SDI Receiver with 2-Way IR & RS232

The WyreStorm RX-SDI-50 is single cable HDMI over SDI cascading display receiver capable of receiving transmissions of lossless 1080p HD video@60Hz and multi-channel HD audio up to 50m (164ft) using copper-core 75Ohm coax from a compatible transmission device, such as the TX-SDI-50 (sold separately) transmitter as part of the EX-SDI-50 extender set. Now there’s no need to re-wire in a retrofit location – keep the 3D quality and the coax!

Multiple Applications over Coax

The RX-SDI-50 is designed for residential or Pro AV applications where use of coax to distribute and control HD signals is either required due to retrofit installations where existing coax cabling infrastructure must be used, or preferred for its low loss at high frequencies; vital for cable/satellite television, cable modem installations as well as commercial applications such as security/surveillance, broadcast television and film production in studio or location, video conferences, electronic teaching, in fact, any wired network area where the extension and amplification of SDI transmission is needed.

Comprehensive Connectivity

The RX-SDI-50 features full 3D compatibility and 24bit True Color with wide-band, two-way control from either source or display (when paired with TX-SDI-50 – sold separately) location via IR and RS232 with full support for leading third party control systems. It is equipped with (1) SDI in, (1) SDI out, (1) IR TX, (1) EDID, (1) IR RX, (1) ISP, (1) HDMI out, (1) RS232, and (1) DC/5V connections.

Daisy Chain Away!

Featuring twin synchronous SDI outputs, a signal can be sent in two different directions to create a cascadable splitting system feeding different locations by pairing a single transmitter (TX-SDI-50 – sold seperately) with multiple receivers, with a SDI loop out on each receiver enabling the daisy-chaining of several receivers to create larger, multi-location distributions.

3D Compatible

The RX-SDI-50 fully supports 3D transmission and includes embedded EDID/SETTING functionality to manage the EDID handshake between devices to aid communication and help avoid compatibility issues that can effect successful signal transmission.
