Platinum Tools® 18100 Telcom Splicing Connectors UR-Gel Filled (Quantity 100)

The Telcom Splicing Connectors utilize an insulation displacement contact design that supplies fast, simple, and reliable terminations. No wire stripping is required and the connectors will accept solid copper wire of different gauges such as that found in phone cable. The connectors are Gel filled to provide moisture resistance and inhibit corrosion. Typical uses include Butt Splicing 2 or 3 wires of the same or different gauges – which is perfect for pigtail and load coil splice applications. You can also use the UR connector for tapping onto an existing conductor with no interruption, which eliminates cutting or opening cable pairs. Simply insert both wires and snap the connector shut – it's that easy! Telcom Splicing Connectors are for use with solid copper conductors only.
