Panamax® M4LT-EX AC & Tel/LAN Surge Protector
This is definitely not your average surge protector. The M4LT-EX has more than meets the eye, providing noise filtration and surge protection for multiple applications of home/office equipment such as copiers, modems, telephones, computers, printers, fax machines, and more. Surge Protection
Panamax’s exclusive Protect or Disconnect™ circuitry is a special surge protection technology that stops a power surge in its tracks. In the event of a catastrophic surge such as lightning, it completely disconnects AC power to all of your connected equipment, ensuring your devices’ safety.
Joule Rating
Power surges send excess amounts electricity that can damage your connected equipment if not properly protected. The Joule rating is a measure of a surge protector's ability to "clamp" this excess energy down to a safe level - the higher the rating, the more protection your equipment has. The M4LT-EX has an excellent rating of 1650 Joules.
4 Outlets
The M4LT-EX has (4) protected AC receptacles with transformer spacing to protect your most important electronic equipment. With (2) located on the top and (2) on the side, accommodating multiple plugs is no problem.
Phone/LAN Connections
On the top of the M4LT-EX are (2) RJ-11 Phone line IN/OUT connectors, and (2) RJ-45 Cat5e IN/OUT LAN connectors. Via these connections, both Telephone lines and LAN can be networked through the M4LT-EX and are instantly provided solid-state telephone line and 100bT Ethernet line protection.
LEDs
Power indicator LEDs keep you up to date on the status of the M4LT-EX as well as the connected components. “Power On – Protection OK,” “Ground OK,” and “Unsafe Voltage” are the visuals to convey the current status. A power ON/OFF switch gives you immediate control of the Surge Protector.
Even More Features
The M4LT-EX not only meets, but exceeds UL safety standards, and also accepts add-on signal line modules to accommodate system expansion. A DSL phone line splitter is included.
