The EVEXHDB1 Evolution™ Slim HDBaseT Extender set features HDBaseT technology optimized for whole-home or commercial distributions of uncompressed high definition signals at more than twice the distance of standard HDMI cables without degradation. What’s more, it is designed with PoC technology that allows for the entire set to be powered via a single power cable!
Evolution™ HDBaseT™ Extension
The EVEXHDB1 extender set consists of a transmitter and receiver. HDMI signals are input into the transmitter and HDBaseT technology is used to transmit the audio/video signals to the receiver up to 230 feet (70m) via a single Cat5e/Cat6 cable for 1080p and 40m at 4K 60Hz. The receiver then outputs the HDMI signal to the display. The EVEXHDB1 also allows for bi-directional IR and power across the Cat5e/Cat6 cable.
Power over Cable Technology
This Evolution™ extender set supports PoC, which can be used to power either end of the extender set via a single power supply – power is transmitted over a Cat5e/6 cable to the other unit to allow either the Transmitter or Receiver to be powered without the use of a power supply. The result is an easy and flexible installation with low maintenance.
Myriad Features
In addition to the HDBaseT and PoC capabilities, the EVEXHDB1 transmitter and receiver units are crafted with a slim, compact design, support CEC, and are HSCP 2.2 compliant. It comes with a single DC 12V power supply.
