Mix and match Transmitters (sold separately) with PoE Receivers to create a custom Vanco extender set! The EVWP2006RX Receiver Wall Plate is part of a Custom HDMI system that is designed to receive HDMI video, audio, control and power transmissions through single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. What’s more, it’s equipped with PoE technology that allows both the transmitter and receiver to be powered via a single power supply, a feature that eliminates needless cables, making for a cleaner, more efficient installation. The Receiver Wall Plate fits easily into a single gang low-voltage box, and includes: IR TX and RX set, and 12V DC Power Supply.
PoE Technology, Auto EDID & More!
Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology is a new industry standard – one that greatly increases efficiency. It transmits power over Cat5e/Cate6 to the connected transmitter and receiver. Only one power supply needed! In addition to PoE, the EVWP2006RX also features auto EDID and EQ Management for plug and play installation, wide band Bi-directional IR system allowing for control of source or display (IR accessories included – wide band IR signal from 20kHz to 60kHz). Additionally, it supports EDID call back, CEC pass through, VESA DDC, and hot swap technology.
Long Distance High Definition
With the EVWP2006RX HDMI transmissions are extended up to 50m (164 ft.) from the HDMI source at Full HC 1080p 24-bit color and 3D. It works with both HDMI and HDCP compliant devices, and supports pure uncompressed 7.1ch digital audio, DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD high bit rate audio.
Expandable & Compatible
Perhaps the best part of the EVWP2006RX and the Custom HDMI Extension System is fact that it is easily expandable! It is designed for cascading to create a larger distribution system, and is fully compatible with any Evolution™ by Vanco product. To complete the system, Transmission Units are available, like the EVTX2006 (sold separately).
