Qualifying as one of the “most important” tools in the installer’s kit, a stud sensor is vital to retrofit wire and cable installation. DeepScan® Technology

The StudSensor™ Pro SL will provide simple stud and fire block location identification in wall material up to 3/4" deep, and using the DeepScan® mode doubles the scanning depth to 1 1/2 inches (38 mm).

SpotLite® Pointing System

This deep-scanning stud finder equipped with the SpotLite® pointing system quickly and easily locates the edges of wood and metal within walls and ceilings. The patented SpotLite® Pointing System shines a beam of light on the wall to identify the target.

Multiple Indicators

The StudSensor™ is equipped with multiple indicators. When approaching a stud, red LEDs light up. When stud edges are located, a green LED signal, audio tone, and the SpotLite® Pointing System alerts the user. Should scanning begin over a stud, Zircon's patented "over-the-stud" indicator alerts the user to start the scan in a new location.

Auto Calibration

Patented TruCal® technology calibrates to any wall's density and a steady green LED TruCal® icon alerts the user when the tool is calibrated and ready to scan. Simple operation and lack of complicated buttons makes the StudSensor™ Pro SL the best tool to have for stud detection.
